Since he defeated Edo in his Pro-League duel today, there's been a real increase in the amount of interest Juudai is getting. I'm even getting one or two offers from those with more higher ranked duelists. I think this has been a good boost for him.
This post is mostly for Alexander Hawkeye, just to say everything has been processed with your application into the Pro-League. I can get you your first opponent this weekend.
Well, I hold in my hand one shiny new Pro-League managers licence. Kouyou was right... it was a lot easier to get one of these than I first thought, though I didn't really have any worries about not passing it. At least now I shouldn't find it hard to do the work I need to do.
I'm thinking sometime in the near future, I may take on some other Pro-Duelist hopefuls, since right now all we have is Juudai.
Since Juudai won that pro duel the other day I've been getting much more interest for match-ups for him. Though, for now he really can't take on more than one or two duels a week, after all he's a college student as well, with finals coming up, but at least this is all looking up now for him.
I have finally made some progress. I had to make so many phone calls, but I finally have an opponent for you in the Pro League, Juudai! The duel is a little short notice, as it's tomorrow, but it's the only day they would arrange it for.
I know Juudai can take care of himself but... I still can't help but worry. I've been out everyday just looking around the city for him.
...I know he hasn't told his parents he's alive yet either... I assume he has his reasons, so I've been telling them that they're still holding his body for a murder investigation. I've been meaning to talk to him about it but... then he just vanishes.
I can't believe this has happened... ...after everything he's been through and fought against... he was fighting until his last moment, then his life was cruelly taken away from him... by human hands no less. Oh god Juudai, I'm so sorry. I'm so so sorry.
...telling his parents over the phone was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I couldn't let that fall on the shoulders of his friends though, they're going through enough as it is... ...I'll be meeting them at the train station tomorrow, so I can at least take them to see him...
Well, Kouyou and I have Juudai all signed up for the Pro-League now, so I guess we'll see how this goes. It's quite exciting, but... at the same time...
...has anyone noticed anything different about him? He seemed rather on edge when he was over. When we asked him if something was wrong, he insisted he was just excited... but that wasn't excitement...he seemed a little... scared of something? I'm not sure.
It was good to see Kouyou in action again. Maybe the opera wasn't for all of us, but that duel sure was. I think we all enjoyed watching it. Juudai especially! He's been a lot happier recently, he was practiclly bouncing off the walls with excitement when we got here, in some ways he still is. It's good to see him happy like this though.
